Doug Fister to start Saturday

Tigers manager Jim Leyland announced to the press today that starting pitcher Doug Fister will return to the active roster on Saturday. Fister will make the start in place of left-hander Drew Smyly, who was placed on the disabled listearlier today.

This will require Detroit to make another roster move, which will likely not become officially until Saturday. One would have to guess Matt Young will draw the short straw on that one.
